Full Body Tracking Guides

Choose a kit, set it up, or solve a problem with a kit you already own. Start with the task in front of you; you do not need to read every guide before using full body tracking.

Buying your first kit?

Start with your headset and the app you want to use. Then check the computer or other equipment the tracking system needs, choose the body roles you want to measure, and compare the complete cost.

Your question What to check Start here
“Will it work with my Quest?” Whether you play through a PC or run the app on the headset changes the connection and software requirements. Quest PCVR and standalone guide
“I want full body tracking in VRChat.” Choose a supported tracking route before following an installation tutorial. VRChat tracking options
“How many trackers should I choose?” Count the body sensors and the roles they measure separately from the points shown by an app. Tracker counts and body roles
“What is the complete cost?” Compare the selected option, listed accessories and any equipment you still need. FBTKit prices and kit contents

Set up and wear your trackers

  1. Connect the system. Set up SlimeVR for VRChat on Windows takes you from installation and Wi-Fi through the first in-app calibration. It covers the Windows PCVR route.
  2. Match each device to its body role. The illustrated placement guide separates Waist, Hip, thigh, ankle and Foot locations and explains mounting direction.
  3. Make the physical fit stable. Use the strap fit and slipping guide if a case rotates, clothing moves beneath it, or a strap feels uncomfortable.
  4. Prepare the next session. Follow the calibration and reset guide after putting the trackers back on. Use the charging, care and storage guide between sessions.

Something looks wrong

Notice where the problem first appears: on the physical tracker, in SlimeVR, or only on the final avatar. That observation is more useful than changing every setting at once.
