LSM6DSV Low-Drift IMU
Each tracker uses the LSM6DSV sensor from STMicroelectronics. In the SlimeVR-compatible tracker family, LSM6DSV is a higher-performing IMU choice: it is stable, low drift, and does not depend on a magnetometer, so it is less sensitive to environmental magnetic interference. In practical use, it is a clear upgrade over BMI270 and LSM6DSR-class builds.
SlimeVR IMU references rate LSM6DSV in the same 4.5-star class as BNO085, while keeping the no-magnetometer advantage for rooms with magnetic interference.

Compatibility
The kit supports SteamVR and can be used with Quest, PICO, Index, and other headset workflows that are compatible with SlimeVR Server. It is designed for broad headset compatibility, but setup is not plug-and-play: you need to configure the trackers in SlimeVR Server.

If a Tracker Will Not Connect
- Make sure the tracker is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- If needed, use a 2.4GHz hotspot from your computer while the computer itself stays connected to the router over 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Check that the SSID and password are correct.
- Avoid Chinese SSID names.
- Avoid WPA3-only or newer encryption modes that the tracker may not support.
- Check whether your router has a maximum connected-device limit.
- Make sure the tracker and computer are on the same subnet.
- Reset SlimeVR Server if you need to rule out a software-side configuration issue.
If You Notice Drift
Use the latest SlimeVR Server release, version 0.18 or newer. Older server versions may cause drift or other abnormal tracking behavior.
Custom Laser Pattern
The default kit ships with no custom pattern. Custom black-and-white laser engraving is available by request for about $2.94 equivalent per customization, based on a 20 CNY custom fee. Send your image before ordering; we can help with cutout and layout, but laser engraving only supports a black-and-white effect.
